As for any Pilgrimage, it is appropriate we undertake sadhanas from the start, which would help us purify our heart and prepare ourselves for the Darshan, Sparshan and Sambhashan with our Lord.

All the Centres and Devotional Groups can participate. To register, an individual has to be a Centre or DG member, meaning that the individual follows the Nine Point Code of Conduct. It is the responsibility of the Presidents to register following the above guideline.

Also, it is imperative that we follow a few spiritual practices as a group to be eligible to join in the Pilgrimage. Writing Likhitha Japam is adopted as a National Spiritual practice. We could do the same along with meditation.

In addition, we could also perform a simple seva – save a nominal amount of $20 adopting Ceiling of Desires and use the money for a seva similar to Operations Christmas Child.

Please see the Code of Conduct for Pilgrims. Following the Code will prepare ourselves and also make us be with Swami for the entire period from the start date of these spiritual practices.

It is also the responsibility of Centre/DG Presidents to motivate and ensure that the individuals conform to these spiritual practices, which require approximately 20 minutes everyday.

Last Date for Registration will be December 31st, 2009.

Registration Deposit

As the numbers of registrants are increasing beyond original estimates, we have decided to confirm the numbers by taking a non-refundable deposit of $250 for each adult (18 years and above) signing up. If any child below 18 and above 11 is signing up with a guardian, we will take a deposit of $50 from the child. The deposits are non refundable and will be refunded only in genuine emergent cases (to be decided by the Presidents - eg: Medical, study etc.). The non refundable deposit will be adjusted against the ticket money.

We need to get the numbers correct, to finalize the accommodation requirements. So the deposit is required to be collected by December 31st, 2009, which is the last date of registration. Registrations, beyond this date will not be accepted.

All the Presidents should forward the list of the confirmed Pilgrims, including children from whom the deposit has been collected, to the Regional Coordinators on January 1st, 2010.
